Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress who hails from Manama, Bahrain and was raised in a multi-ethnic home. Jacqueline's father Elroy Fernandez comes of Sri Lanka (Sinhalese - Catholic)and her mother Kim is Malaysian. Her siblings include two brothers and an older sister. Her family was born and raised in Bahrain. The family of her parents moved there in the 1980s due to the civil war in Sri Lanka. Padukone is a native of Mangalorean origins and speaks Konkani as her mother tongue.
